One of my favorite bars! They always have great specials during the week.. Thursday's is double bubble. I love the atmosphere, beer selection, their old fashions which are homemade and the bartenders. Definitely recommend.

Group of friends and I went to this bar, I bought two beers costing $13 and I did open tap so did my friend. To end the night, we went to close the tab. The bartender insisted that she gave my friend Credit Card back and said here is a signed receipt and it wasn't his signature. She gave his CC to some Drunkie who tossed the card in the bathroom floor. Hmmmm... Didn't sit with me well. Driving home checked my bank and they charged me $30 and also my friend who also bought only 2 beers costing $13. Don't do open tabs here. Your credit card is going to be handed to random drunkies and you will be charged extra for no reason. Becareful!

Huge selection of beers in bottles, a wide selection on draft. They even have Tusker House, a Kenyan beer! I love that they give you free (frozen, kinda crummy... but still free!!!) pizza during happy hour. Weirdly they have signs everywhere that say that you must have a Wisconsin drivers license to come in. As my husband and I had just moved from Colorado, we were a bit puzzled by this (we're of age! we want to drink!) but it wasn't an issue.

I went there because I heard they had a great beer selection. When I got there I asked to see a beer menu and they didn't have one. They had all their beer up on a black broad, the bartender said that the wall was no up to date so they might not have all of the beer on the wall. I was heard to read some of the beers and they have it organized by the county the beer it was from and not style or brewery. When I got my beer and I asked for a glass and the bartender never gave me a glass for my Stout. I would say the worst thing about this beer is that when you pay with a card they over charge you so they make sure they get their money and then they refund you the money a couple days later. I wasn't told this is what they do, but I check my banking statement and realized I was charged $30 for a $9 bill. I went back a couple hours later to find out why I was charged $21 more than my bill. I was told that they have had a problem people not having enough money in their account so they over charge people to make sure they get their money. She said that I should get the $21 back in two days. It is now been four days and it still isn't in my account. When I visit Green Bay again Cock & Bull will not be a bar I will go back to, it just isn't worth all the hassle.

This joint's beer selection: pretty great This joint's due diligence: pretty shaky. A place that serves really great beer should know a little better than this place does. I get the feeling someone along the line really didn't do their homework. When a customer asks what stouts you have, you should know...by heart. The beer board is organized by country and excludes style and ABV. Very few people will care what country their beer comes from, but they might be a little perturbed if they wanted a porter and ended up getting served a lager because of a bartender's ignorance. Both times visiting the Bull, the first bartender I talked to had to go fetch someone else to answer my simple questions. The beer menu set-up and lack of bartender knowledge are not conducive to a manageable tasting experience, which is probably why most patrons here completely avoid craft beers altogether. Even I'd be intimidated to try something new without the vital information necessary to make an informed decision. My last gripe is this: DON'T FROST MY MUG. You just ruined the beer by letting ice permeate the entire beverage. That DIPA is not a Miller Lite. It does not need to be frozen for it to be palatable. I'd probably go back because it's one of the only places in the area to carry my favorites, but g-damn, get it together, people.

Very wide beer selection, bottle and tap. Pool tables and miniature shuffle board and darts so there are things to do. Seating is good nice booths near the bar, a real bar with comfy stools and a couple couches by the pool tables. the only bad thing is some of the customers don't realize this isn't the kind of bar to order fancy drinks instead of one of the many beers prominently displayed on the big board above bar which can slow down the service a bit. All in all this is one of the few establishments in Green Bay that I would say actually fits the true description of a pub which in city let alone country is quite a feat.

Beers, beers, so many beers!! If you like beer, this place has over 200 kinds from all over the world. Reasonably priced and the crowd isn't too obnoxious either. There are pool tables for those of you who do that whole thing, and outdoor seating for the summer months. I seem to remember ordering a pizza here once too.

One of the best bars in the city. Great beer selection. Great selection of games. Bartenders are always friendly. And as the kicker....BEST...HAPPY HOUR....IN...THE....CITY. Cheap tappers, half off bottles, and cheap rail mixers.

Frequenting many bars since my arrival in Green Bay, I keep seeing myself coming back to Cock and Bull for one reason, the amazing beer selection. If you have any bit of beer snob in you (which I admit I do), then Cock and Bull is the place to go for a choice of over 200 imports and domestics. Never have I seen Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on tap (which is about 100X better than out of the bottle) as well as Founders Breakfast Stout. I love trying new beers and this place rivals Woodman's in selection as well as having some specialties that I can't find anywhere else in Green Bay (Dogfish Head is available sporadically). Not only is the beer selection great, but the happy hours is awesome. I am used to free food at bars now that I have lived here for a few months (blew my mind the first time I saw it), but free fresh pizza is few and far between. Beer prices drop by a few dollars to a more manageable level on the imports (domestics drop drastically) and the happy hour lasts until 7 which is always nice. Overall a great bar at a decent price to hang out at.

Fun place! The Cock & Bull has over 200 beers from around the world. They list them all on a giant chalkboard behind the bar and also feature a "drink around the world" promotion. You sign up for a free card, get punches on your card when you drink different beers and when you complete your card, you get a "I drank around the world at the Cock & Bull" t-shirt. The place used to be located north of the current location, still on Main St. I personally preferred the former bar, as I thought it had more character and tended to cater to regulars. The new location has a younger crowd and louder music. You can get peanuts in the shell, and play shuffleboard on a full size (very nice) table! Beers are reasonably priced. Happy hour features some drink specials and free pizza made by a local busines.

Pretty ok place, Meet some friends and it was rather quiet there so we got seats and a pool table and enjoyed our evening. We were asked for a 2nd ID or Credit Card when we walked in because we had MN license .... ok but considering we were all 26 it was a bit much. 200 beer selections, but only about 8 on tap and there were so many beers it wasn't possible for a bartenders to truthfully recommend one. I had a Belgian White which was good and reasonably priced. Staff are nice and prices are fair, i would go back.
